The Way
Wiser Collective was founded in 2011 with
the mission of exploring latent possibilities in the urban landscape and
creating interventions to shift public awareness. We are particularly
interested in working outside of gallery spaces to create socially
engaged visual art. Our work utilises high and low tech media, to create
intentionally accessible artwork in Dublin’s cityscape. Our process utilises the resources already
present in the environment, be it collaborating with a child’s limitless
imagination or responding to overlooked architectural features. The collective’s members come from diverse
backgrounds, creating a multidisciplinary group. We use a synergistic process
combining our individual interests, insights and skills.
